New vs. Old

So there's recently been a debate over the release of the new Spiderman movie. Many people are cynical towards the new movie when only a few years ago there was already buzz over the Spiderman trilogy. Others are more accepting to the change; they enjoy the novel look of the young characters and the dramatic story line. Personally, I think it was a bit too soon for the release of a new Spiderman series. With the old movies still fresh in my memory, I felt myself comparing every scene to that of the old trilogy. I have to say, though I felt the movie's release too soon, the movie was 'cute'; it threw a more serious drama into the whims of the daily norms of high school life. Overall, I'd give it a 5 out of 10....What do you think?

3 GuessZ: Bieber (Again), Filthy Rich FAKE Vampires, and "Last Night"

One would think that failed power would shut the Biebster up for good. One would think wrong! On Monday when Bieber’s Apollo concert went wrong, Justin saved the day by proposing his fans sing with him. And sing they did! I happened to hear a clip of it and let me tell you they can NOT sing! But don’t tell them I said that! Overall, his fans had fun, and the show went on!

Kristen Stewart has given me one more reason to hate Twilight, as in the movie. She is the TOP PAID ACTRESS OF OUR DAYS AND HAS MADE OVER 34 MILLLION DOLLARS THIS PAST YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most people thought it would be Carmen Diaz, but she ended up as the second highest paid actress with Sandra Bullock as the third.... Kristen made most of her money off of Twilight, and the rest came from Snow White and the Huntsmen. What I don’t get is the fact that we all know Stewart is a garbage actress, and would be better off playing a zombie than a vampire! She is emotionless and LAME and could do do use the money for acting classes, but then again even money can’t buy acting ability.

Well no more Gaga for Indonesia! In May the Asian spring concert was cancelled for public fear over the pop singer's devilish messages. I have to say, though her songs are catahy, the Indonesian people may have a point..lol!

Ajah Speaks: Family Reunion

ASA, Ya'll ! (Yeah, I'm still a Georgia girl!)
So, its almost summer, and you know what that means, right? No, I'm not talking about school ending, even though I know you guys are dying to get out of it! It's family reunion time! Awesome, right? I get to see all ya'll, ISA.  This year, The Parents are leaving it up to Us. We get to plan everything. Well, almost everything. Phone Meeting Tonight at 10 o'clock, ISA. we're going to do like a twenty way call or something, i don't know how this works. Email me if you can't call in, or log onto your yahoo account/ google account and we can have a chat. If you have like, Google Plus and a webcam, we can web chat?
My idea for the family reunion was to do it at a park, so we can save money. Then we can have like a cook-out or something. I was looking at the last two days of June, and the first day of July, so June 21st, June 30th, and July 1st. First day we can have Jummah and do some kind of dinner and games  and whatnot, Saturday is the cook-out at the park, and Sunday a pancake breakfast. Sounds good, or what?

3 GuessZ: LOL, The Voice, and Where the Wild Things Are

Have you heard about LOL, Miley Cyrus's newest movie? Probably not! And that's the reason the movie, well....bombed! It made like $440 per theater! The movie was under promoted and barely attended. Here's the trailer in case you want to, you know...

Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher's ex has changed her Twitter handle. @MrsKutcher is now @JustDemi. Soooo she really is moving on. Good riddance because Kutcher was caught cheating. Now, he can't even keep a woman.

  

Megan Fox is not pregnant! But Snooki (The Jersey Shore) is, and how I found out is more hilarious than the fact. We went out to eat somewhere and they had the news on. One second they are talking about, news, and the next you hear: "I'm pregnant." Then: "How did this happen?" Snooki's blunt reply has been censored.  My mom was maaad. She was like, "Get someone to cut that off! We didn't come here for this!" I agree. That could have been kept to herself. It's not like we care, right?

Umm, Justin Bieber is claiming that boxer Floyd Mayweather is a mentor. Bieber attended his fight, and escorted him to the ring along with Lil' Wayne, 2 Chainz and 50 Cent.  Floyd supposedly was so inspired by "Never Say Never", he wanted to become Justin's mentor. I thought only teenage girls watched that movie! Floyd doesn't exactly have  a squeaky clean record either, having been charged with domestic violence four times since 2002, and was arrested in 2010 for threatening to beat his children if they called the police on him after he punched their mother. One would think that Bieber would recognize that Mayweather isn't exactly role model material, but Justin says Floyd is just misunderstood. Wow. How can anyone misunderstand violence??? 

The Voice winners will be announced TONIGHT! So, all ya'll couch potatoes, prepare!

I don't know what the world has come to but my teacher decides to have us write a six page in class essay for practice for a test we won't have to take till next school year! Are Kim Kardashian and Kayne West officially a couple? Well, the two have been spotted together in (gasp!) New York, and were holding hands. It seems Kim has already moved on and has totally forgotten about her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kris. Those two had to have had the shortest marriage ever! Actually, I think Christina Aguilera took that record. But that's another story...... Kayne rapped about his love for Kim in his new song, "Theraflu" . Personally, I'm just hoping the two aren't dating just because Kayne's name begins with "K"!

Justin Bieber wants to be your boyfriend! Thank God I'm Muslim.......Bieber's new single "Boyfriend" is so controversial because it's a totally different style than earlier songs. I guess Bieber is growing up. also, selena and Justin are still going strong even though she isn't in the "Boyrfiend" video. It's some other girl, and for Selena's sake, I hope she isn't getting any ideas.......

Have you heard about the "hologram" of Tupac that did a concert with Dr.Dre and Snoop Dogg? well apparently it was his spitting image, right down to his perfect 6 pack. Even dead people prefer to go shirtless these days. what is this world coming to? People are even voting on who they should bring back next. Unfortunately, it's highly expensive, so it won't be King Arthur. He didn't even make the list. Too bad.


Nicholas Sparks's novel, The Lucky One has been made into a movie.  Zac Efron is the leading role!!!!! But read the book first people. I read it. (Duh.) It's not one of my personal favorites because the main characters have--- Well, never mind.  On second thought, don't read it.

Angelina and Brad are engaged!!!! (Finally.) They went on some kind of engagement vacation, whatever that is. They brought the kids too. They must not have gotten the memo. It's marriage first, then children, even if they are adopted!

The Bird, the Mouse, and the Bush
A bird and a mouse were hiding behind a bush. They were both trying to avoid the household cat. However, the bush was too small for both of them and they couldn't both fit back there. "Mouse," said the bird. "It is obvious that we cannot both fit back here. As the oldest, I think it is only fair that I get to stay and you find another bush."
"But Bird, this bush is my home. Surely this gives ME the right to stay." The bird and the mouse got into a heated argument that soon turned into an all out fight. The fight was so fierce that it attracted the attention of the cat. This was the very same cat they were hiding from! Well, the cat noticed them in the middle of their brawl.With a swipe of his paw, he separated the two and tossed them in his mouth. That was the end of the bird and the mouse.
Moral:
Do not forget who the enemy is.

Ajah Speaks: Airplanes

The day before yesterday was my grandmother's birthday. I was talking to her, and we had a very good conversation. She told me that in all her years of living she has never flown on an airplane before.It was really shocking to hear that. At first I didn't believe it. "You've never flown on a plane before?"  I asked, incredulous. "Never." Even though I've flown before, I seemed to have inherited her fear of airplanes.
My grandma asked me all kinds of questions,  like  how I felt about them. I told her the truth, how when we take off I just "pray,pray,pray." 'Cuz I'm scared we'll crash or something. Call me paranoid, but it happens. She also wondered if my ears popped. "Yes," I said. Even though I chew gum, I can still feel it. Serious pain!
But, yeah, it was a really nice conversation. Still, I'm betting next time my grandmother visits, she'll come by train!
